Response and Community Collaboration
In addition to identification, building a response protocol is an effective strategy for coordinated care between providers. This can be in the form of a formal policy and care guidelines. Organizing a clear response for staff to follow, especially with the time constraints in healthcare, will contribute to staff adoption and improved outcomes. Collaboration between the healthcare facility and outpatient service providers will also assist youth through the recovery process, improving long-term outcomes.
